The ones I couldn't quite explain why I loved.

Submission Guidelines
WHAT WE ACCEPT
• Flash Fiction (up to 1,000 words)
• Creative Nonfiction (up to 1,500 words)
• Poetry (up to 5 poems per submission)
• Hybrid and Experimental Work
GENERAL GUIDELINES
• Submit all work via email to theitchlit@gmail.com.
• Use the subject line: GENRE – TITLE OF WORK.
• Include your submission as a Word document (.doc or .docx) attachment.
• Please include a brief cover letter and a short third-person bio in the body of your email.
• Simultaneous submissions are welcome, but please notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere.
• Previously unpublished work only.
• AI-generated work will not be considered.
RESPONSE TIMES
We aim to respond within 3 days, though response times may vary depending on submission volume.
AUTHOR BIO
Please include a brief third-person biography of 50–100 words.
RIGHTS
By submitting to The Itch, you affirm that the work is your own and has not been previously published.
Upon publication, The Itch requests First Electronic Rights and the nonexclusive right to archive and display the work on our website.
Rights revert to the author immediately upon publication. If the work is republished elsewhere, we ask that The Itch be acknowledged as the original publisher.
